„www.tagesschau.de“ anklicken, zielstrebig zu den Kommentarspalten navigieren. Jede*r hat hier etwas zu sagen. Viele wissen ganz genau, was passsiert und wie die richtige Reaktion aussieht.
In der Videoinstallation „Entschuldigung, da musste ich lachen.“ erklingen diese Kommentare, überlappen sich, die Textfelder rotieren und übertrumpfen sich sowohl bildnerisch, als auch klanglich.
Die Äußerungen werden hierbei dramaturgisch zu Pointen zugespitzt arrangiert. Unsicherheit, lose Behauptungen, Fehlentscheidungen, sowie Anschuldigungen und Gegenanschuldigungen.
Der Schlagabtausch nimmt zusehens an Fahrt auf, das Interface der Website stört und unterbricht die Aussagen, eine Stimme zählt Tage ab, bis der Verweis auf „Fortsetzung folgt“ im eingeblendet wird.
Am Ende bleibt ein vielleicht irritierend ironischer Kommentar zur Einsamkeit.
It starts with the news, but then the flow of images freezes. We spot a classic browser narration:
„www.tagesschau.de“ is called up and navigated purposefully to the comment columns. Here the usage process breaks away from a linear realism: Comments sound, overlap, the text fields rotate and become visually as well as aural. The utterances are arranged in a dramaturgy that is pointed to a point; the uncertainty in lockdown, views on wrong political decisions, accusations that in turn make counter-accusations. The exchange of blows is picking up speed, the interface disturbs and interrupts the statements, a vote counts down days until the reference to „To be continued“ appears in the interface of the Tagesschau page. In the end, there is an irritatingly ironic comment on loneliness.
