Statement

The manifestations and presentation possibilities of the moving image, which is over 120 years young, are the focus of my artistic research. Whether films in the cinema or digital user interfaces on the PC, a collective visual memory has long since emerged, in the creation of which every individual participates. I explore systemic and social circumstances and changes using both self-produced and existing video archive material.

Through my part-time job in television production, topics such as the position of wage labor and its capitalist exploitability have become increasingly prominent in my cinematic and artistic work.

Biography
