‘Would you like to check in at work?’
Since I started working part-time for a well-known TV production company, my morning routine on workdays has been the same. Boot up the computer. Open the browser. Go to the company website. Select room planning. Click on the appropriate seat icon. Select my name and the current date in the slide. A small window appears.
‘Would you like to check in at your workplace?’
There are two options to choose from below. The pill selection scene from The Matrix briefly pops into my mind. One blue rectangle says ‘Log in’ and one red rectangle says ‘Share’. When I log in, my icon avatar is rewarded with a green check mark.
I am connected to the system now.
